1. Mysore Palace (Ambavilas Palace) :
Mysore Palace was Built in the 14th Century by King Yaduraya. After a couple of fire, the palace was rebuild by Lord Henry Irwin, a British architect, was commissioned by Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV. It was completed in 1912. The visitor’s fee for the palace is Rs. 40 for Indian tourists and Rs. 200 for foreign tourists.The best time to visit this palace is September-October. During Dashera the total palace is illuminated with lakhs of incandescent lights. It is an iconic landmark in Mysore. It is one of the best Palaces of India.

2. Laxmi Vilas Palace – Baroda, Gujrat
Can you imagine that the Laxmi Vilas palace is four time larger than Buckingham Palace, England. Yes it is one of the biggest palace in the world. It was built by was built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1890 at a cost of GBP180,000. for those days the amount of money was not a matter of joke. The architect was Major Charles Mant. Entry fee for the palace is Rs.150 per person.

3. The Lake Palace, udaipur, Rajasthan.
Lake palace was built by Maharaja Jagat Sing II in the time span between 1743 and 1746, on the famous Pichola lake of Udaipur. Its natural foundation span is 4 acres. Now a days it is luxary hotel under the Taj group. It is said that it is one of the most romantic hotel in India as well as a best India Palace.

4. Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur
Umaid Bhawan Palace was built in between 1929 to 1943. It was built by the royal family of Jodhpur. It was also called Chittar Palace during its construction due to use of stones commonly known as Chittar in the building. It was said that The Palace was built to provide employment to thousands of people during the time of famine. There is three parts of the Palace. A part of the palace is managed by Taj Hotels. In another part, it is the residence of royal family and the rest one is built as a museum.

5. Jai Vilas Palace, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh
This Palace is the official residence of the Royal family of Gwalior. It was built by the Maharaja Jayajirao Scindia in 1874. The architectural style of this palace is Italian, Tuscan and Corinthian style. the palace was designed and built by Sir Michael Filose , the famous European architecture.The most famous attraction of the palace is Two Belgian chandeliers at Durbar Hall weighing 7 tonnes each are believed to be most gigantic in the world.
