39 People Found Dead In Truck In London
London police found 39 bodies in a truck in London. They also confirmed that all of them were Chinese. “Emergency services attended but sadly all 39 people inside the container had died,” Essex Police Deputy Chief Constable Pippa Mills told reporters. “This is an absolute tragedy.”

16 Set To Death For Burning Teen
A Bangladeshi court sentenced 16 people to death for setting 19-year-old Nusrat Jahan Rafi on fire. Those convicted of murder included the headteacher Nusrat had accused of harassment and two female classmates. In addition, the trial came quickly in a country known for taking years.
An investigation revealed a conspiracy to silence Rafi. Her family has since been given police protection. Russia said that a part of their S-400 missile defense system to Serbia for a military drill on Thursday. Ethiopian activist Jawar Mohammed called for calm on Thursday. This comes a day after 16 people died during clashes between his supporters and police in the capital and other cities.
