How to make lipstick last all day

Lipstick is an essential item in a girl’s hand bag (I mean, life too). We never miss to take it with us when we are outdoor. We need to reapply it several times to keep us fresh and trendy. 1. Exfoliate:

   

   First of all you need to remove dull and dry skin cells from your lips. The best tip is to do this with a damp toothbrush. Scrub the top surface with it. Remember, do all these very lightly.

2. Moisturize:

   

   Now you have a fresh skin which is needed to be moisturised. Use a non-petroleum lip moisturiser on your lips. Don’t forget to blot with a tissue to remove any excess cream.

3. Prime & Line:

   

   Use an easy-to-apply lip primer over the lips. Let it be absorbed for couple of minutes. Once it’s absorbed, outline you lips in a liner that’s the same shade of your natural lip colour. Lining your lips is a skilful act !

4. Add Your Red:

   

   Now the act which you know the best, apply lipstick. Put a thick layer of lipstick into the lips. Open mouth slightly to apply lipstick into inner corners. Maintain the uniformity of the layer throughout the lips.

5. Set with Powder:

   

This is what I call tricky.  Place a thin layer of tissue over the lips and apply loose or pressed powder through the tissue to set the lipstick in place. The tissue gives a better coverage of powder going through to the lips so that you aren’t removing the lip colour -you’re just matting it down. Apply a final layer of lipstick to give a long lasting glossy finish.
