ISL Football news: weekly highlights –

  1. Score 2 goals , but out of the field for 2 months:

The marquee of Atletico de Kolkata helder postiga scored two goals in first match against Chennaiyan FC and helped the team to get valuable three points. 13th and 70th minutes of the match, Atletico Marquee scored the goals. But unfortunately after his second goals the Portuguese injured himself in the process, being stretchered off with Valdo coming on in his place and next match against FC Goa, Atletico missed 2 points and the match between Atletico de Kolkata and FC Goa ended with 1-1 draw. Arata Izumi scored goals for Atletico in the first half and k Almedia bounced back one goal for FC Goa.

At the end of the first Week, Pune City FC is in the top of the table in Indian Super League 2015. First match Against Mumbai City FC on their home ground in Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex got their first win in Indian Super League 2015 , the match ended with 3-1 goals. Tuncay Şanlı scored 2 goals and Israel gurung scored one goal for Pune City Fc and their second match they have ended their match  in 1-0 scoreline.

  1. Huge crowd helped Kerala to get 3 points :

Last year in 2014 Indian Super League, kearla Blasters FC was the top of the Average home attendances with 49,111 but this year on their first home match in  Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium, Kochi, Kerala against North East United FC, officially attendances- 60,011. On their first match great start with a resounding 3-1 win over NorthEast United FC in an Indian Super League (ISL) round one fixture.  Josue Currias (49′) got the ball rolling before Mohammed Rafi (68′) and Sanchez Watt (71′) added two more for the hosts before Nicolas Velez (82′) grabbed a late consolation goal for the away team.

Atletico de Kolkata player Baljit Sahni was handed his marching orders after he picked his second booking within minutes for headbutting Arnolin. This was after Arnolin brought his run to a halt as Sahni appeared to have fouled the FC Goa defender and got suspended for two matches and fined 5 lakhs INR.

  1. Carlos made his debut on the second half :

Delhi Dynamos marquee Roberto Carlos made his debut on the second half of the match against FC Goa in Indian super league 2015. In Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Fatorda Stadium), Margao, in the second half 46th minute he came in the field, substituted by Hans Mulder but Delhi lost the match in 2-0. Zico’s Gaurs have won the tie comfortably although the opposition did stike the post twice. Three points for FC Goa and they shall be pleased with their display. Dynamos’ defensive performance was shambolic.
